Professor Carolyn Unsworth

Carolyn Unsworth is Professor of Occupational Therapy at Central Queensland University and holds Adjunct Professor appointments at La Trobe University, Melbourne, Jönköping University, Sweden, and Curtin University in Perth, Australia. Carolyn is an experienced educator and researcher and her interests include driver assessment and rehabilitation, clinical reasoning and decision making, outcomes measurement research, rehabilitation following acquired brain injury and evidence-based practice. Carolyn has authored over 140 peer reviewed publications ( 2018 Unsworth Publications ) and has developed three published assessments; one for driver assessment (called the OT-DORA- AOTA Press, 2011), the Powered Mobility Device Assessment Training Tool (PoMoDATT) led by Kathryn Townsend  and the global outcome measure featured in this website, the AusTOMs-OT.
